Deck Staining
Refresh, seal, and protect outdoor wood
Deck staining that keeps the elements out.
Strip, brighten, and recoat for your climate.
A weathered deck doesn't need replacing. It needs the right prep and the right product. We power-wash, strip old failing finish, brighten the wood back toward its natural tone, and apply a stain matched to your deck's species and exposure. Whether it's a fresh build, a faded redwood, or a cedar that's gone gray, we'll get you back to a deck you actually want to use.
Stain matched to your wood species and sun exposure
Most decks done in 2–3 days, weather permitting
Test patches before we coat the whole deck

FAQs
Straight answers before you book
Should I stain my deck or paint it?
For most decks, stain. It soaks into the wood instead of sitting on top, so it wears more gracefully than paint and won't peel the same way.
Can you stain fences, railings, and other exterior wood?
Yes. Fences, railings, pergolas, gates, doors, and other exterior wood all fall under the same service.
Can you handle brand-new wood that's never been finished?
Yes. New wood needs slightly different prep than weathered wood, but the staining process is the same.
When's the best time of year to stain a deck?
Whenever you can string together a few dry days in the right temperature range. We'll watch the forecast and schedule the work around it.
