Crew Lead
Hamilton, MT · Full-Time · $28-35/hour
Are you an experienced painter with leadership skills? Dandy Painting is hiring a Crew Lead to oversee and manage painting crews on residential and commercial projects in the Hamilton, MT area. You’ll be responsible for team coordination, quality control, and project success.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor 2-5 painters on assigned projects
- Plan daily work schedules and coordinate task assignments
- Ensure all work meets Dandy Painting quality standards
- Conduct site inspections and perform quality checks
- Monitor safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
- Communicate with project managers and clients about progress and timelines
- Address crew questions and resolve on-site challenges
- Maintain equipment and manage supply inventory
- Report project status and document completed work
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional painting experience
- 2+ years of crew supervision or team leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of residential and commercial painting techniques
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
- Physical ability to perform painting work and lead by example
- OSHA safety certification or willingness to obtain
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
